Marielle Pabon

Marielle Pabon has been a respected member of the ballroom dance industry for more than 20 years. Alongside her husband, Carlos, she operates That's Dancing Ballroom & Dancesport Center, a full-service studio dedicated to serving both competitive and social dancers of all ages and experience levels.

As a studio owner herself, Marielle understands firsthand what studios, teachers, and competitors are looking for in a successful event. She combines that insight with a passion for creating organized, welcoming, and exciting competitions that provide an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

Marielle has been organizing ballroom dance competitions since 2009.  She is the organizer of the Pennsylvania Dancesport Challenge and the Baltimore Dancesport Challenge in Linthicum, Maryland, and serves as co-organizer of the Northcoast Dancesport Classic in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Yuletide Ball in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition to producing her own events, Marielle travels nationwide as a competition registrar, bringing her expertise to many of the country's premier ballroom dance competitions.

When she's not at the studio or planning competitions, Marielle enjoys life on her family farm in Maryland, where she and Carlos are raising their four children.
